Filosa, for Nursing and Rehabilitation and Hancock Hall are privately owned and operated skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers in the heart of Danbury, Connecticut.  Since 1947 our facilities have been continuously managed on site by our original owners who for three generations have remained dedicated to providing a uniquely caring and supportive environment for our patients and their families.

Filosa, for Nursing and Rehabilitation and Hancock Hall each offer long and short term residents a complete and comprehensive range of nursing, social and rehabilitative services. We are very proud to offer a full continuum of care which meets the varied needs of our short and long term patients.

We are supervised by a medical board, led by Medical Director, Dr. Serafima M. Glouzgal.  Dr. Glouzgal is an Internal Medicine specialist with a private practice in Ridgefield, Connecticut and privileges at nearby Danbury Hospital.

Danbury Hospital, an award winning regional facility, provides for our patients’ acute care needs if necessary.  The two-mile proximity between the hospital and the Filosa facilities allows for immediate patient transfer in emergency situations.

Our staff is comprised of highly trained and experienced skilled nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers and administrative personnel.  Our staff is proud to provide an exceptionally supportive, compassionate and family-like atmosphere for our patients.  They are attentive to the needs of the entire extended family and are committed to excellence in patient care.  The exceptional atmosphere of caring, compassion and a family oriented culture combined with the highest quality health care available is what makes the Filosa experience unique.

Glen Hill Center provides a broad range of services including short-term rehabilitation and long-term care in separate units. Prior to your surgery, consider pre-booking your rehabilitation stay in one of our private suites, which includes concierge services and special amenities such as free WIFI, Flat screen TVs and an enhanced dinning menus.

Our talented rehabilitation specialists can provide physical, occupational and or speech therapy 7 days a week if needed with personalized treatment plans. Glen Hill Center is proud to be the recipient of two consecutive Deficiency-Free surveys November 2011 and January 2013 and is a proud recipient of the prestigious ACHA Bronze, Silver and Gold Quality Awards.

Glen Hill is the best place to put your parent or loved one. My mother was at Glen Hill two separate times due to surgery aftercare. I was at ease knowing my mother was being cared for by so many wonderful people. The Administrator and Director of nurses were very attentive to us. My mom was able to get home quickly at her prior level due to the excellent therapy that she received (even on the weekends). All of the therapist should be commended. We are a huge family and we all travelled from WTBY just to get the best care for our mother. We would do it all again just to have her placed at Glen Hill. Glen Hill is a home away from home facility and I would highly recommend them for care and recovery.

I went to visit a family member at Glen Hill and I was so impressed that I had to write a review. The building is bright and clean, and has a very home-like atmosphere. The staff was so friendly and my aunt was very satisfied with the care. I would highly recommend Glen Hill to anyone I know needing short term care!

Both my parents went to Glen Hill following a hospitalization. The care is always great. The nurses and CNA’s are kind and caring. Therapy is excellent and they are there 7 days a week. I also had one aunt and two great aunts at Glen Hill all for short term rehab to prepare them to return home. I would never go anywhere else. The staff is excellent!!! Over the years, I have spoken to other patients and their families who have been to other centers and they say “there is no comparison between the care at Glen Hill and what they received at other places”. Its of no wonder Glen Hill made US News & World Report Best Nursing Home list.

Crestfield Rehabilitation Center and Fenwood Manor is situated on a gorgeous 11 acre wooded campus. The center features a lovely country setting with walking paths and picnic areas. It is centrally located only minutes away from Interstate 84. Visiting hours are unlimited and we have ample parking.

�Where short term rehabilitation is our specialty�. We have a full complex of therapists on staff to provide an intensive treatment program with multiple therapy sessions each day.� We provide excellent nursing and rehabilitation services with a strong commitment to customer service. On site preadmission assessments are available for a smooth transition from the hospital or home to our center. We provide cable T.V., phone and Wi-Fi services free of charge on our short term rehabilitation unit. Our 3,500 square foot fully equipped rehabilitation gym, one of the largest in the state, has a completely functioning therapy house that includes a working kitchen, living room, and bedroom.

�A Residence that �Cares� 24 hour a day availability of medical care without relinquishing independent living. Fenwood Manor provides compassionate nursing care in a scenic and relaxed environment.
