When Dr. Eugene Flaxman opened the doors to Hughes in 1961, he worked diligently to ensure that the spirit of family became the method of operations here. More than 50 years later, our founder’s vision is still exemplified by the way we treat people at Hughes — from our residents and their families to our co-workers and community.

The mission at Hughes is to provide health care services in an environment where caring makes the difference. Our method of achieving that is simple: We care for loved ones family style.
